Seminar – Challenge construction of rafts or huts

You will receive construction materials (beams, ropes, buoys…) to build your raft or hut.

As soon as possible, do your work but be careful, the quality of the construction will be important.

You will then test your project… Buoyancy on the water during a nautical event…or test your construction or your hut!

Collaboration, communication and listening will be necessary in order to complete the project and win this construction challenge.

It is up to you to show that you are up to the challenge that is offered to you. Using different elements, build your boat as a team! Possibility also to test your beautiful work with a life-size flotation test! What better than to carry out this activity in a protected and magnificent environment on the seashore!

Teambuilding Presentation Construction of rafts?

The Construction Challenge is a technical and tactical challenge accessible to all. Once you have recovered all of your building elements, you organise your team to make the most reliable boat possible. Communication, mutual assistance, technical and tactical to put in place, … these are the mini-challenges to reveal all together. Each phase of construction requires a particular skill speed, communication, strength, reflection, … each person can find himself in one of these skills. At the end of the activity, interested parties will be offered a buoyancy test. A nautical challenge can also be organised.

Before starting your activities, several teams of up to 4/5 people will be formed either by drawing lots or determined upstream. These teams will remain unchanged from the beginning to the end of the Challenge. You will go as a team in a great Adventure!

Once the teams have been set up, you will be briefed so that you can explain all your questions. We’ll show you the rules of the game.

After working sessions, come and enjoy the sea and the beach to get some fresh air through this Challenge Construction.

Objective of the seminar Construction of rafts

It’s up to everyone to optimise their role to bring the team to success. Remember when the teams are composed, everyone will have a role to play, guaranteeing the good performance of the team.

This Challenge Construction is based on the famous stories of strandings, hermites and deserted islands and the wish for the wrecked to try to return home by building a boat supporting the torrents of the marine forces. Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to isolate yourself for long hours on an inhospitable island! Individual performance comes at the service of the collective. Only we go faster but together we go further. It is the expertise that each brings to the group that will maximise the effectiveness of the group.

This Challenge Construction can take place without any limitation on the number. Ideally, teams of up to 4/5 people should be set up so that everyone can participate and take an active part in the workshops.

All the activities offered are accessible to everyone and can be adapted to the group’s level of sportsmanship. No activity is mandatory, we offer each participant to participate. Everyone is free to decide whether or not to participate on a challenge.

A teambuilding adaptable to your expectations.

We generally recommend an activity over a period of 3 hours including 2 hours of activities (arrival of the group at 2 pm for an end with presentation of the prizes around 5 pm).

On each Construction Challenge, we can offer you several options. We have “refuelling” breaks in the middle of your activities. Several scenarios are also possible: orientation (walking or cycling) or beach challenge to retrieve construction material upstream.

The duration of the course can vary from 2H to 1/2 day depending on the time you have. It is achievable in all weather and year round except on the flotation test part which is subject to weather and tidal conditions. We can also provide you with k-ways, windbreaks in case of rain. The trees of the forest will protect you and you will quickly forget the weather, head diving into your construction.

At the award ceremony we can offer you different “local” lots that very often delight the participants. In most cases, the customer chooses to offer everyone a souvenir lot that we can prepare in advance. A book by Karine Baillet on her journey, a sweet, salty lot or a symbolic object of your company that you want to share.

We work on the city of Touquet Paris-Plage but we can also work on other locations. Our teams move easily. We have already organised Challenges Construction in Bordeaux, in the Paris Region, in Deauville, Cabourg and on several locations in Hauts de France. We adapt to the terrain and your seminar environment!

At the end of each activity, we will provide you with a summary file bringing together the composition of the different teams, the programme of activities, the detailed results and some souvenir photos. We can also provide, according to your wishes and your budget, a photographer or a capture to capture all these beautiful moments. A video editing of your construction challenge can also be done.
